Operational & Event Structure of the Race Day
Drivers Meetings:
- The morning drivers meeting is vital, this is where you find out if we are running 2 or 3 qualifiers and other contingency changes for the day.
Staging Area:
- Use the staging area Tables located on the right side of the drivers stand near track. If your heat/race is up next BE READY and use the staging area. We will start 2-3mins after the completion of the previous heat/race. There can be a max of 1 min call if you can not make it to the starting line within those 2-3mins and we will extend the wait time an additional 1min before the start of the next heat/race.
Turn Marshaling Duties:
- After each run the drivers will set their car down either in a designated impound area (announced at Drivers Meeting) or back to their pit area and immediately return to the track to Turn Marshall for the next class. The next heat/race will start in 2-3mins and you must be in your assigned spot/bucket number. Future impound area will be under DVR video surveillance.
- You go to the bucket with your number from your line up in your heat that you just finished.
- If you can not or do not want to Turn Marshall it is up to you to get someone on your bucket.
- If you DO NOT TURN MARSHALL you will have points or laps removed per each occurrence and this will effect your ability to place on the Podium for that Event Day and Series Finals.
